Do We Have to Know?

Many people want to know definites in life. Which job should they take? Should they stay single or get into a relationship? What should they put on their FaceBook status? Single, in a relationship or it’s complicated. It’s so easy to get caught up in wanting to answer these questions and know for sure exactly what you’re supposed to do, when to do it and how to do it. Let me tell you something that I have learned throughout my life, so far. There are no definites! There is only, this is what is happening right now and who knows for how long. The mysteries of life are not answered unless we just go forward doing whatever God puts in our path. If it is His will, it will work out for as long as He wants it too, and if it’s not, He will eventually close that particular door.

I remember when I would have such anxiety over what I should be doing and when I should be doing it, whatever “it” is. I now just relax and do the next thing in front of me. For now, my life is about selling my book, “The Prison Gates Are Broken,” and writing these blogs. Who know’s what next for any of us! Just walking through whatever door is being opened and experience every emotion, thought and action that comes from walking through that door is all we can do. Personally, I can’t wait to see where this door of starting my website, “whatsnextinlife.com” brings. I am very excited to experience all that comes along with this new opened door in my life.
