What’s Next?

Life can be a rocky road with small pebbles of minor obstacles, as well as large boulders that change life’s direction. As we go through life, we have challenges, but we also have decisions. Each decision causes a new outcome. I have drilled this into my children’s minds over the years that good decisions have good consequences and bad decisions have bad consequences. Why has it taken decades to learn this myself? Things seem to take place without us even knowing it. As if we go through life in a daze and just drift by and never really grasp what is going on until the reality hits us!

I have had some very big boulders thrown into my life, some by unconscious choice, some by conscious choice, and others not by my own doing. This is why it has taken me ten years to get my first book, “The Prison Gates Are Broken” out into the world. It was published in 2007 and yet it is now 2017. Where did time go?

Different things that come into our lives that deter us from our dreams is why I named my website and blog, “What’s Next in Life,” because there always seems to be something new, not necessarily exciting, but definitely new coming next. Join me as we take the journey of what’s next in life.
